Ho, Ho, HOA

2 either 30-60

J.J. Everett has nearly completed a front yard Christmas display when the homeowners' association president appears. Named King and living up to the name, the president is a stickler for compliance to the HOA covenants. To Everett, it seems that permissions and denials are being determined on questionable grounds. After some back-and-forth, King demands that a nativity scene be removed. Everett reluctantly complies -- replacing it with a "For Sale" sign.

While no props other than the "For Sale" sign are strictly necessary, Ho, Ho, HOA would benefit from a production in which outdoor Christmas decorations fill the set. The visual variety would form an attractive background for the barbed comic interchanges between Everett and King.
