A Snowball's Chance
1m 25-60
On a snowy Christmas Eve, Larry reminisces about neighborhood snowball fights he and his younger brother Joey had when they were kids. He remembers one snowball saved in a picnic cooler that outlasted their last snowball fight, and imagines what might have become of the water molecules making up that snowball.
A Snowball's Chance is a seven-minute dramatic monologue with a touching ending. It requires no props or set pieces, but would be most effective with a snow-covered gravestone as a setting to which Larry can address his monologue.
