Jane has just entered a retirement home and is often visited by her two friends, Marie and Sandy. When the ladies meet Tom, the son of another resident, romantic rivalries ensue, with some input from Kendra, a worker at the retirement home.

This hour-long musical traces the relationships across seven months, from May to November of a warm year. Each of the seven scenes takes place in a different month, with the show ending in a mimed wedding in the middle of the closing musical number.

Every Day Is Tuesday takes place on the porch and in the yard of the retirement home, with just one door on the porch and a couple of ways to exit into the yard needed for the set. Props include a birthday cake, a plaque, a Bible, and a wedding bouquet. The show can be easily produced in terms of staging, or it can expand the birthday scene in the middle of the show to actually serve slices of cake to the audience members.

The tuneful musical score weaves six primary melodies into 21 songs and reprises, giving each of the five performers a chance to shine. Vocal ranges are not extreme, so the show should be relatively easy to cast.

Every Day Is Tuesday provides an hour's worth of light entertainment, with the storyline liberally leavened by sprightly songs and a couple of ballads. Prepare for earworms when presenting this show!
