Jill Lee is running for Congress from Johns Creek, Georgia. She made a stir on the city council, and now has her sights set higher. Complications occur when a naked burglar wearing only a cowboy hat invades her home and holds her daughter captive. Shots get fired, but Jill wants that aspect of the home invasion kept quiet. How will that affect the trajectory of her campaign?

Besides Jill, her daughter, and the naked cowboy, the cast includes Jill's husband, her campaign manager and his wife, and a persistent police lieutenant. The set consists of portions of the great room and kitchen of a suburban home, with sliding glass doors up center. A handgun features prominently in the action, but there are no hard-to-find props required.

Some Nekkid Cowboy is based on real-life events in the new city of Johns Creek, Georgia, reimagined and shaped for dramatic purposes. Political, racial, and cultural aspects of the New South all come into play.
