Nobody Likes a Quilter
3w
1w 60-70, 1w 35-45, 1w teen
Three generations of women sit on a porch, the grandmother preparing a quilt as her daughter and granddaughter play a board game. The pieces in the quilt bag bring back memories and unite the three in a warm bond.
This sweet story requires a number of easily-obtained props, but doesn't require much of a set. It's the mother-daughter interactions that drive the play. There has been unhappiness in their lives, but the women come together in the crazy quilt pattern that makes up their lives.
