Drena and Rita are employees in a call center that caters to hair emergencies. As they handle clients on the phone, they discuss Rita's disastrous anniversary gift exchange last night. But was it really so disastrous after all?

The set is a call center with at least two workstations, each of which is furnished with a chair, phone, and procedures book. Costuming is standard street clothing. Salon 9-1-1 is an easily-produced twenty-minute comedy with slightly adult content.
