After a Charming Ball

Prince Charming is distraught after the girl he instantly connected with at a grand ball left early, leaving behind just a shoe. As he relays the events of the evening to his parent (king and/or queen), he resolves to take the shoe and search the kingdom for the one person it will fit -- not because it is so small and dainty, but because of its gigantic proportions. Is the new love of his life, who made him laugh so joyfully, actually a clown?

After a Charming Ball has simple production requirements, with a simple set and just a clown shoe as a prop. Medieval costumes, of course, will set the fairy tale time period.
